You are allowed take the the tests in any order, but I would advise taking the Life in the
UK test first.
Why?
Because once you've passed the Life in the UK test, that pass lasts indefinitely, it doesn't expire, where as the certificate for the B1 English test is only valid for two years - so if you don't pass the Life in the UK test in that time your English certificate will no longer be valid and you'll have to pay to take the test again.
And there are other reasons: if you use my training course for the life in the UK test you may find your English improves and the B1 English test becomes easier to pass.
Two of my recent students have found this:
In an email from my student Shu, he said,
Good morning Louise,
Thank you for your help.
I like your course very much. It has greatly improved my language.
Best regards
Shu
Or from Anna who's husband recently passed the test after using my course she says in her Google review:
My husband is still learning English and many other courses and the official textbook are too challenging for him to follow. But Louise’s course is perfect! She explains things in an easy to understand way , shows illustrations on the screen and speaks very clearly .
She also wrote to me that her husband was able to use my course in a way that worked well for his limited English, he could stop, start and pause the course as he needed to, and that his English improved as a result.
So, take the Life in the UK test first, and use my course to help you with both tests!
