I contacted the Life in the UK test helpline recently to ask if they had any idea of when the Life in the UK test might be changed, and the Life in the UK test handbook updated. Their response was that as a new version of the official handbook had been published in June 2023, they thought it unlikely that further changes would be made anytime soon. This new version only makes minor changes - it's certainly not a complete update of the test.
And just to reassure you, as I’ve mentioned in earlier blog posts, these recent changes, replacing the Queen with the new King, Charles III, are not something that you will be asked about in the test.
